Every advisor in the AnchorPoint network has led organizations through real inflection points. No generalists. No credentials without context. Each one is here because they've earned it.
Scott J. Moore is the founder of AnchorPoint Advisory Group, a group of experienced business leaders who advise executives and business owners. He works directly with leaders who want to grow, sharpen their thinking, strengthen alignment, navigate change, or make better decisions.

His approach is practical, candid, and grounded in the belief that the best counsel considers not only the business, but the leader responsible for it.
Scott views leadership as stewardship—a responsibility to lead people, organizations, and opportunities well. That perspective is grounded in his Christian faith and shapes the integrity, responsibility, and genuine care he brings to his work.
Founder's Role
Mike spent 31 years with Ernst & Young, where he served as a senior partner advising and assisting clients primarily in the healthcare industry. During his tenure, he also held several key leadership positions, including Carolinas Healthcare Market Leader, National Leader for Ethics and Integrity Services and Quality and Risk Management Leader for the Americas Consulting Practice. Following his career at EY, Mike focused his efforts on leadership consulting and development. He currently serves as a Senior Facilitator with Battlefield Leadership, using lessons from history to help organizations and leaders address today's challenges. Mike also has extensive experience as an executive coach.
Anthony has built his career at the intersection of talent, revenue architecture, and organizational leadership — advising CEOs and founders on the people decisions that determine whether a company scales or stalls. As President of Pursuit, he leads an executive search firm focused on go-to-market teams for companies from $10M to $100M. He previously served as Chief Innovation Officer and founding Executive Director at Furman University, where he raised over $10 million and co-founded a regional angel investment network. His earlier career includes executive succession and leadership development roles at Toyota North America and directing executive education for more than 40 Fortune 1000 companies at SMU Cox School of Business. He holds an MS in Accounting from SMU and is a certified DiSC facilitator.
Kenworth has been building companies from the ground up for over two decades — and he has the scar tissue to prove it. He co-founded 13 Stripes Brewery, now Greenville's oldest distributed craft brewery, and built TKG Ventures into a vertically integrated real estate investment company acquiring and redeveloping properties across the Upstate. His portfolio spans real estate, hospitality, nonprofits, and franchise operations, and he serves on the board of World Hope International. Kenworth advises founders and operators who are turning genuine vision into durable business — helping them align culture, sharpen execution, and build companies designed to outlast them.
James is a current Chief Financial Officer with full P&L responsibility for an $85M+ multi-specialty healthcare practice across 31 locations — a role where he has driven 24.4% year-over-year revenue growth through strategic expansion and contract renegotiation. Before stepping into the CFO seat, he spent seven years at Amazon, where he rose to lead organizations of 40+ leaders, managed $4.7B in total freight spend, and launched Amazon Freight's external intermodal offering — scaling it to $85M in annual revenue in its first year. His earlier career includes senior commercial and operations leadership at BNSF Railway, where he grew a $111M sales portfolio to over $151M and was named Salesperson of the Year, and a general management role where he improved EBITDA from 14% to 24% through operational discipline. What distinguishes James is his ability to move between Fortune 50 scale and small-to-midsize growth environments — bringing the rigor, process, and strategic thinking of large enterprise to organizations navigating rapid expansion. He holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Texas Christian University.
David has spent over 15 years leading the operational and people infrastructure inside healthcare SaaS companies — managing implementation, client success, training, and support for revenue cycle management platforms serving major health systems. A Certified Maxwell Leadership Coach, he excels at the work most companies underinvest in: the onboarding frameworks, performance systems, and organizational design that allow growth to compound rather than collapse. David now brings that depth to clients as an independent advisor, working across people operations, process improvement, and leadership development. His strength is translating strategy into execution that holds under pressure.
Brian is a retired U.S. Army Colonel whose career is defined by large-scale leadership and analytically grounded decision-making in complex, high-stakes environments. While serving in the Pentagon, he led the annual executive review of the Army's $850 billion Future Years Defense Program, supporting senior leaders in decisions on major resource allocations and tradeoffs. At Army Futures Command, he oversaw a $270 million budget for a 2,000-person organization, integrating finance, contracting, logistics, and other operational functions to support mission execution. Following his military service, Brian led enterprise operations for a $100 million federal contract at a SaaS company delivering AI-enabled supply chain risk management solutions across more than 30 U.S. government organizations. His work has consistently focused on helping leaders bring clarity to complex problems, align resources to priorities, and execute with discipline under uncertainty. Brian holds master's degrees in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and Government Information Leadership from the National Defense University's College of Information and Cyberspace. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and maintains an active Top Secret security clearance.
Scott graduated from the United States Naval Academy and spent 20 years as a Navy pilot and commanding officer — logging over 3,800 flight hours and commanding units of up to 1,850 personnel with a $20+ million annual operating budget. After his military career, he moved into the private sector as COO of a fast-growing food manufacturer, then as CEO and COO of workforce companies, VP of Business Development at a regional staffing firm, and President of VetSource Services. His career arc — from combat operations and flight instruction to the executive suite across manufacturing, staffing, and aviation — gives him a rare ability to help leaders build the operational infrastructure that scales. He holds an Executive MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Jim built his executive career leading multi-unit restaurant operations at Garden Fresh Restaurant Corp. — ultimately overseeing a P&L exceeding $305 million and managing more than 60 locations across 12 states. He later ran international sourcing and manufacturing operations before founding SafeStaff Carolina and spending five years as a Vistage Regional Executive, partnering with over 62 Chairs and 130 CEO advisory boards across the Southeast. Today Jim chairs Vistage CEO peer groups in the Carolinas, providing the kind of candid, high-trust counsel most executives can't get inside their own organizations. He is a CultureWise Certified Consultant and works exclusively with leaders who are ready to do the work.
Greg spent over two decades building an independent insurance agency from the ground up — growing it into a substantial regional practice before executing a successful exit to Acrisure, one of the fastest-growing insurance brokerages in the country, where he now serves as a Partner. His experience spans the full arc of business ownership: building, scaling, and ultimately selling a professional services firm. That firsthand perspective on what it takes to build enterprise value — and what buyers actually look for — makes him a distinctive resource for business owners navigating growth, risk management, or transition. Greg holds an MBA from Clemson University.
Rich brings an unusually broad set of operating experiences to the table — from building double-digit revenue growth across multi-state medical device territories at Dentsply and RMO, to founding and scaling two radio stations in New England, to leading strategy and business development across multiple corporate divisions. He has worked across sales, supply chain, media, nonprofit leadership, and franchise operations, with international experience in Western Europe and the Middle East. What runs through all of it is a consistent strength in relationship-building, team development, and helping organizations unlock the potential already inside them. Rich holds a BS in Marketing and Finance from the University of South Florida and is a certified Human Flourishing Coach.
